For a band who prefers to let the music speak for them, Ali A and The Agency have a lot to say. Their highly anticipated, self-titled debut studio album is described as rock music with funk and soul influences, featuring songs like the critically acclaimed “My People Are Dying,” “Saturday Inside My Head,” “Let’s Embrace Chaos” and “Cheat Meal.”

Guitarist Travis Prillaman proves that one great guitar player is more than enough, bringing twice the rock and dropping twice as many jaws, and funk is second-nature to self-taught bass man Pedro Cortes, whose rhythmic foundation will make you want to groove. Saxophonist Alex Whaley uses his sultry, Coltrane-influenced flair to bring The Agency’s sound to new heights. The newest addition to the group, Jeff Gonzalez, is a drummer that stays locked in on the one while showcasing his progressive rock, metal, and funk drum patterns across the set making the whole place rock to its core.

Dubbed “…one of the best singers in the valley of the sun” by Dave Bloom of Dave Bloom Drums, and "...a phenomenal talent whose show cannot be missed" by Manny Tripodis, Proprietor of The Rogue, Ali A’s larger-than-life voice will fill you with funk and serenade you with soul. Viewing the world through stunner shades, her lyrics approach everyday life with humor, honesty, and a longing for what we all desire: love, acceptance, and a damn good time.
